Mental Health Act 2017

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare championed the Mental Health Care Act of 2017. It is more patient centric and rights based compared to its predecessor. It makes significant advances in addressing issues related to mental illness for children and adolescents.

To support the spirit of the Act, BBS not only provides for children and adolescents suffering from some form of mental stress to address their concerns through licensed child therapists, but also allows them to proactively make themselves brave, kind and resilient in the face of an ever-changing world.
