Trusted Support Systems (TSS)

They are organisations that provide support to children for Justice (societal, punishable issues such as child abuse, labour, marriage, trafficking etc.). The organisations have one team lead, and multiple counsellors (org representatives working under the team lead).

BBS needs:

  1. Registered NGO working for children in India

  2. Minimum 10 years of operating experience for the NGO as a whole, in addition to: (a) team leads with min. 8 years of experience with children, and (b) counsellors with minimum 2 years of experience with children)

  3. Dealing with punishable offences against minors (such as abuse, trafficking, labour, marriage etc.) on any aspect (awareness, legal support, rights training, frontline champions, etc.)

Modes of joining the rails:

  1. Helpline (voice-based support): For existing helplines specifically equipped to deal with children's emergencies and provide intervention

  2. Anonymous online support: for individual counsellors on behalf of organisations

  3. In-Person support: for NGOs providing on-ground support for children
